Interceptive treatments
Intervention during the mixed dentition phase to address issues that arise before adolescence.
This is often achieved using functional removable appliances. These treatments aim to correct skeletal imbalances (jaw) rather than just the teeth and are primarily used for children and young adolescents. Occasionally, temporary fixed appliances may also be used.

Fixed appliances (brackets):
These involve the use of bands, brackets, and metal wires to align the teeth. This includes conventional multi-bracket systems or more discreet ceramic brackets.
Clear aligners:
With a series of custom-made aligners, teeth are gradually moved into the desired position.
As these aligners are removable, patient cooperation is crucial to achieve the desired results.
Our practitioners are certified for the Invisalign® and Spark® systems.
Bone-Anchored Appliances
Bone-anchored appliances are devices fixed directly to the jawbone, typically using TADs (Temporary Anchorage Device). They provide stable anchorage points for precise tooth movement, offering an effective alternative to traditional methods that rely on adjacent teeth.
These appliances allow for complex dental movements with fewer constraints on other teeth, sometimes avoiding the need for extractions, thus improving the efficiency and comfort of orthodontic treatment.
Combined treatments
These treatments combine orthodontics with maxillofacial surgery to correct severe skeletal imbalances in adults.
